Ben’s dahabeya

What our guests say

This is a small dahabeya which can usually sail quietly along the Nile even when the wind is low, rather than needing to be towed like the larger dahabeyas. The deck area is spacious and very comfortable and has a jacuzzi. Cabins are very compact, but most of your time is spent on the deck taking in the views of the river. The staff are wonderful - very friendly and always helpful. And the food is great. It's hard not to feel sorry for people on the large motorised cruise boats who pass by, often taking photos of the dahabeya.

It was such a memorable journey traveling on Ben's Dahabeya along the Nile for five days. The Dahabeya is well equipped and decorated, providing extremely comfortable and relaxing environment. But what is more worth mentioning is the crew! Hats off to the chef for all the delicious dishes, to the service staff who provided top-class service during our entire trip, and to the captain who's very experienced with sailing the Dahabeya. The Nile is at this season is so beautify and peaceful. There are different amazing scenery from morning to night, from Luxor to Aswan. Hope I can visit Egypt again.

We spent four days on the Dahabeya from Esna to Aswan on the Nile. They were wonderfully beautiful unforgettable days. The equipment of the ship, the commitment and kindness of the crew, plus very delicious food, it was a truly royal way for us to travel south on the Nile. It is also particularly nice that the Dahabeya can be moored on the shore virtually anywhere in the evening. So we had overnight stays away from the noise of larger places. Just a dream come true for us.

Beautiful cruise on the Nile River surrounded by date palms, banana trees and lots of greenery. You pass through an ancient country and from the terrace of the ship you can admire feluches, breathtaking landscapes, people greeting you and trying to offer what they have. We were on the Hapi V and had a great time as staff, cleanliness and buffet always varied and different every day. Highly recommended.

The trip with the Ben's Dahabeya was excellent! The crew forthcoming, friendly and caring, the food was amazing and the cabins / bathroom small but functional. The hospitality and service were marvelous. We would highly recommend it!
